When is the club's first general meeting?

I don't have experience in the financial industry. Can I still join?
Yes! We look for people with diverse backgrounds and perspectives to join. Interests may include technology, business, consulting, journalism, and more!
Who is eligibile to join?
We invite all undergraduate students interested in learning more about the capital markets and career opportunity.
Where can I learn more about the Capital marketes Group?
Our email list and social media outlets are constantly feeding information about events, opportunities and news
Do I need to apply to join a Sector Coverage Group (SCG)?
Yes! Select analysts take on the role of strategists, devoting time and discipline that exceeds the commitment of weekly meetings. The program is a predecessor of an actively managed student fund but not yet live.
Is there a consulting club?
No, but we offer consulting insights despite being a finance club. We plan on helping build a dedicated infrastructure for a consulting club called the UMass Boston Consulting Group in Spring 2026 with consultants from BCG, EY, and more already in the pipeline of guest speaking.
